Ice-Skating in Bryant Park

New York is beautiful during winter time: millions of little bulbs start to light up countless trees and shops during the pre-Christmas season. Once the temperatures drop you have the choice to go ice-skating at Rockefeller Center, in Central Park or at the newly constructed ice rink on the lawn in Bryant Park. Admission is free, but if you don't have your own skates you can rent a pair for $10. Still very inexpensive if you consider the fun you have on the ice until your feet start to hurt and all you want is a nice hot beverage - preferably alcoholic
